मंगलं कौसलेंद्राय महनीय गुणात्मने ।
चक्रवर्ति तनूजाय सार्वभौमाय मंगलम् ॥ 1 ॥

वेदवेदांत वेद्याय मेघश्यामल मूर्तये ।
पुंसां मोहन रूपाय पुण्यश्लोकाय मंगलम् ॥ 2 ॥

विश्वामित्रांतरंगाय मिथिला नगरी पते ।
भाग्यानां परिपाकाय भव्यरूपाय मंगलम् ॥ 3 ॥

पितृभक्ताय सततं भातृभिः सह सीतया ।
