After bathing, wear clean clothes and read it by lighting a lamp in front of the picture or idol of Lord Venkateshwara. It is considered auspicious to recite it on Thursdays and Saturdays of the week. श्रियः कांताय कल्याणनिधये निधयेऽर्थिनाम् ।
श्रीवेंकट निवासाय श्रीनिवासाय मंगलम् ॥ 1 ॥

लक्ष्मी सविभ्रमालोक सुभ्रू विभ्रम चक्षुषे ।
चक्षुषे सर्वलोकानां वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 2 ॥

श्रीवेंकटाद्रि शृंगाग्र मंगलाभरणांघ्रये ।
मंगलानां निवासाय श्रीनिवासाय मंगलम् ॥ 3 ॥

सर्वावयव सौंदर्य संपदा सर्वचेतसाम् ।
सदा सम्मोहनायास्तु वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 4 ॥

नित्याय निरवद्याय सत्यानंद चिदात्मने ।
सर्वांतरात्मने श्रीमद्-वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 5 ॥

स्वत स्सर्वविदे सर्व शक्तये सर्वशेषिणे ।
सुलभाय सुशीलाय वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 6 ॥

परस्मै ब्रह्मणे पूर्णकामाय परमात्मने ।
प्रयुंजे परतत्त्वाय वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 7 ॥

आकालतत्त्व मश्रांत मात्मना मनुपश्यताम् ।
अतृप्त्यमृत रूपाय वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 8 ॥

प्रायः स्वचरणौ पुंसां शरण्यत्वेन पाणिना ।
कृपयाऽऽदिशते श्रीमद्-वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 9 ॥

दयाऽमृत तरंगिण्या स्तरंगैरिव शीतलैः ।
अपांगै स्सिंचते विश्वं वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 10 ॥

स्रग्-भूषांबर हेतीनां सुषमाऽऽवहमूर्तये ।
सर्वार्ति शमनायास्तु वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 11 ॥

श्रीवैकुंठ विरक्ताय स्वामि पुष्करिणीतटे ।
रमया रममाणाय वेंकटेशाय मंगलम् ॥ 12 ॥

श्रीमत्-सुंदरजा मातृमुनि मानसवासिने ।
सर्वलोक निवासाय श्रीनिवासाय मंगलम् ॥ 13 ॥

मंगला शासनपरैर्-मदाचार्य पुरोगमैः ।
